Honeyoe Lake is probably the place to go. Just go to the South East end and look for the crowed. ::)

I caught a 14" crappie on Conesus while fishing for Pike two weeks ago but the place to go is Honeoye. They seem to be an afternoon fish till dark. I will be at the North end today and most of next week searching.

They may be starting up pretty soon in the canal by the state launch at the north end of Seneca.  It may not be ice fishing, but that's also a good crappie spot when they get going.
Weed beds in the shallows of any of the finger lakes will be turning on.  Honeoye, Conesus, Keuka to name a few.  This is the time they get started and they are a ball at ice out.
Good Luck,
Grady
