haha Munchy I said to him. "Dad I pay the money and look forward to the trip I would like to stay the whole time this year and fish with the guys". Then Boyster said. "Well maybe I would like to stay up and fish then entire weekend too".

Blackberry brandy 20 dollars
Fishing at Winni 250 dollars
Fishing with boyster priceless.

There are bobhouses already out at Center Harbor. Up in Moultonborough (N/E shores of Winni) there was over a foot of ice.
Some of the smaller ponds have close to, if not more than 15 inches.

As for fishing alone, don't worry, you'll be surrounded by thousands of fellow fishermen/women.

I did the derby last year and failed to weigh in a white perch that might have been a money fish.
I mis-heard the reports on the radio, and thaought that my fish wasn't big enough. (It was around 16")
When I saw the final results I was kicking myself for my mistake.

That won't happen ever again!

What's up Rambo? We killed them today at the res. My daughter and I just got done eating a nice perch dinner( she had thirds).  Biggest fish was a 2.90# slime dart. The jigging rods were producing nonstop.

one of the members of the group I travel with up to winni caught a nice white perch that would have been close to the money if not the money. Instead I cut it up and cooked it in beer.
