I don't get ot that way much. I'm spoiled... I have some great pike spots on the coves of the CT River only 5 minutes from my house. Mansfield is about a 45 minute ride for me

You need waders to get on still no snow sores are shakey friend try get on from the boat ramp could not the and old holes
turn in to big sore just be careful. By sunday should be good some place 4 " no more then 5" anywhere on the lake.

Ya it lock up but I Gone three times this week no flag, it will be zoo next two weeks 8 inches of ice ,no snow, water low

FFF Derby is this week BUT the rain is coming so better get the wader out so think it maybe postponed.
Play it by ear ice awesome allittle rain would be PERFECT. Go luck to all I willl be there and it going to be busy.

I'm new to the board here but not ice fishing. Was hoping to fish Mansfield Hollow. I have never been there, but I have heard there are big Pike. I would like to know about the ice conditions and good places to fish. I guess with a derby coming up no is not a good time to be asking. Also need info on a license. Can they be bought on line?

Cant buy them online yet

The state is a little behind in that dept. Yes tourney this weekend. Anywhere is good as for spots. Must warn you this lake is very slow. Got to put your time in. Its going to need a bigger parking lot soon

Thanks for the info. I don't mind putting time in. I'm outdoors on the ice. What more can you ask for? Now if the rain will cooperate!

Couldn't get the ice princess to get into waders to ice fish.

No sense of adventure.

I heard it was a little wet getting off the ice by the end of the day. Water came way up. As far as what won I haven't heard.
