Are you going over there for just the day or are you pulling over the

Well there are those bluegill hybrids and big browns.  A buddy from work fishes it alot during the open water months but never during the hardwater season.  He said they been gettin big (10"-12") I don't know if I'm doing a day trip or pullin the camper over.  I still need to discuss it with the "War Dept.".  I would like to spend the weekend.

OOPS!!

Anyway let me know how you are rolling...

There are a few of us that may go hit Desmet this week and try to find the eyes. Since you can now use six lines!

Looks like I will be able to fish the derby at Boysen but I will have to find a place to stay because I wont have the time to get the camper over there.

Later  PF1

I may be able to round a bunk up for you let me do some research.  I still don't know who I've told that they can stay in my camper.

I may do the whole sleep in the pick-up thing again. It really isnt that bad as long as the weather isnt too bad and you can get out and stretch. I just wont be able to bring all my toys as room will be limited.
Well now that I think about it I will borrow a trailer for the house and atv and should be able to get most of my stuff!!! Yeah .
I dont plan on needing a place to sleep now, if I have my house I wont plan on sleeping much unless its alcohol induced!!!

My boy and i hit Renner this last spring and did very good on the Bass and Gill. We only caught around 10-15 that were 10-12", We did catch some fairly nice Bass. The slot limit on the Bass makes it pretty hard to limit out. If I remember correctly the slot is 1 over 15", 2- 12-14" and 3 under 10". All we caught were Bass that were 13-14". I was also told that there are allot of Springs that make the Ice Dangerous, So take the Bar.

Good time and lots of 6-8in fish.........and nonstop action

Oh yeah       and I fell out of the boat.........leaning over to get a gill that somebody had hooked and released....but he was a floating-quiverer sooooooooo...

Those girls still laugh about that ;D
I disapeared and bubba just says....dad......dad.. .....DAD

going over to renners tomarrow let you know how it go's. I dont ice fish it very often either because of the ice. they lifted the 10 limit on the bluegill so maybe it will be worthwhile.

caught 7 gills 2 baby bass. fished for about 3 hours. ice is about 12 inches as long as you stay away from the inlet. there is about 4 inches of snow on the ice to. saw lots of gills but they werent to hungry. had the place to myself looks like there had been a few people there before the last snow fall. good luck.

Ya thought we would do this before the end of the season.  My buddies folks live in Basin and they are out of town so we are going to have a all night Texas Holdem game and go fishing in the morning.
