I'm sure you could find these at any retailer of fine chinese products...(Wal-Mart)....I field tested the lights tonite and they performed flawlessly, although it was 55 degrees here in Chicagoland today.

Thanks guys!!!.....I decided to make this video after being disgusted by the cost of tip-up lighting.....Paying $10 to install a light on a $10 tip-up is like paying $5000 to put tires on a $5000 car.

I have not been able to find any of these magnet-activated lights here in Canada.  Our Walmart does not have them, and can't find them with google fu either.  :D

Anyone know where they can be found?

Thanks,
Ted

Hey, Muskymod, can you tell me who makes them, or is there an Internet address on the package that we could take a look at?

Thanks,
Ted

Sorry guys....this product is no longer available. The internal parts of this mechanism corroded rather quickly, and the devices no longer worked the following season. Made in the republic of China, they were doomed to fail....however they worked quite well for the few times I actually fished after dark.

Thanks for the update, Muskymod.  That was an excellent idea you posted, and no doubt it worked well as long as the light worked.

Ted
