Hey, i live in farwell, just a few miles away.  I have fished shamrock a couple of times through the ice but never caught anything.  maybe we should get together some time.

I used to fish Shamrock all the time until I moved away. I never did much on pan fish until last ice. I did catch a bunch of pike on tipups. I never caught any real good numbers on crappie, maybe a few while fishing gills. Where do you catch the crappie at?

How much ice is there? Would like to try Silver Lake south of Lake George if there is ice. Did you catch any crappies?

Oh my night was a disaster but i went out today on christmas day and there was about 8 inches of ice and caught three gills on my new rod and reel combo. It was great alot of fun.
