« on: Nov 28, 2007, 05:13 PM »
im thinking spending the night on jo mary again....
any takers.......Doofy?
where's everyone headed?

Also.. if anyone is familiar with jo mary, how can i get my shack on the ice there?  id like to leave it for the season.

i dont think they would allow it to be towed down the campground.

You think there is gonna be ice up there on the 1st???  ;D ;D Love that pond. Is the gate open or do you have to ride in on the sleds?

Not sure yet as to where, depends on ice.  I won't be camping out this year, unfortunately, as the chain is short for New Years Eve.  However, I will be fishing by first light somewhere on the 1rst.  Possibilities include Pleasant, W. Musquash, Lunksoos, or maybe somewhere new.  If I can get a trash fish trip in before the 1rst, I may do that also.

To early to tell, not much good ice around last year, hope that doesn't happen again.

probably running from Jacktrap to Jacktrap somewhere catching loads of pickeral and perch.  My guess would be arrowhead if ice is good.  Hopefully that won't be the first time I am out there though.

Most likely Cobbossee in front of the house with a hangover, but maybe wilson pond or narrows pond.

Why not?  I would imagine if the gate is open (it was last year) you could bring it right down the road we went in on to the boat launch.  You could always tow it in and leave it on the ice next to shore as long as it is out of anyones way.  You should call the North Woods office or the campground and I bet they would have no problem with it.
