Anyone know how the ice is on Cheshire right now?
Last time i knew there was 4-5 inches of black ice  and lost 1-2.5 inches of white ice  from the previous 10inches

We were there Saturday and there was around 10-11" of ice on the second lake. The edges were soft but with this COLD weather we will be fine. We're not catching anything on the second lake you might want to try the first lake.
If fishing was work I'd never be sick!

Shantyman, was that your shanty the game wardens were pulling off the ice with a sled today? Looked like it was on fire or something!!!!!!!!!

Just kidding, we used it today and kept warm, don't mind the smell, It will go away!!! At least I went in that bucket in the corner!!!! John boy said he will replace the window, it was way to hot in there so he opened it for you.

Some of us were wondering if there were any rules for people driving sleds and wheelers on the ice after dark this year. As in the past few years there have been numerous tip-ups and other things run over for people to find in the morning. 5 miles per hour is a good thing after dark, I think.

There is a town rule that was put in effect. That no motorized vehicles are supposed to be used from 12:00a.m. to 5 a.m
Just try to mark them the best you can. Especially low rider tip ups.
