Been hitting bunch of farm ponds and strip ponds 8' to 18' deep. All ice I've found has been 6" - 10". I am just about burnt out - so tired and sore, I've been making hay while it's dry sort to say. I'm up to 91 fish in the freezer and now I need to go to work Monday to rest. Best bait I've used was a bright orange tear drop jig tipped with a minnow or wax worm (two danglingly). Most fish bit early morning or at 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Time for bed for this old man - Good luck and thank god we got our ice. It will be here for a while now God willing.
