Oneida Lake 4 Wheelers
« on: Feb 10, 2007, 01:14 PM »
Is there anywhere on Oneida Lake where 4 wheelers can get on since this weeks snow storms?

Any idea about the conditions at William's Park?

I like to fish the vicinity of buoy # 130.

any reports of activity in that area would be appreciated. Thank you

i live on lake in Constantia and saw one 4 wheeler come out from library. He didn't get too far off of snowmobile trail so i don't think it is that good for a 4 wheeler. Hoping to get out but i have a 4 wheeler also and can't even make it down to lake from my backyard.

I took my sled out today in Constantia. I was doing fine till I slowed down and sunk in the slush. Took a while to get it out but I'm glad my dad was near by to help. Slush was about 8 inches deep under all the snow.

Even the 800 w/ v-bars can't make it out of Lewis Point. The crust in the snow floats the bike and the wheels don't touch. If you make it past the shore drifts, main lake is probably ok. I'm thinking of buying an enclosed tracked Argo just for fishing, should be the ultimate ice machine...

There's been a guy out by 130 with one of those things. It also has a built on shanty. What a machine.

I have been hunting or fishing almost everyday of my life. The rest have been wasted.
