Not a bad day!!

Started it out with a long haul onto the lake with dad todd, and uriah, set up both shanty's then i went and drilled holes for tip ups, didnt even get all the tip ups in the water and i had a flag was pretty windy so i figured wind trip, went and looked and she haulin out line like mad, let her run a little bit then gave it to her, hauled a decent 30 incher through the ice, then set it back up and went to the shanty really slow day for the panfish, but we ended up with somewhere inbetweed 20-30 fish, not sure yet cuz dad and todd are still out, was pickin up tip ups, and picked up one and thought wow, that is a mighty big minnow, gave it a good yank and the fight was on, looked closer and the flag was froze so it wouldnt trip, anyways got this one pulled through and he was 33 inches, i was pretty excited!!  These were the 2nd and 3rd pike i've caught on tip ups, needless to say im HOOKED! Will hopefully have some pics to post here tonight when mom gets back! Stay warm everyone im off to a nice hot shower then cleanin time!!

Thanks for all the replies guys!!  Lobo, have you ever fished Crystal lake?? THat is up your way and is a pretty good pike lake from what i've heard, i've never fished it but my buddies uncle spear a LOT of pike in that lake! Not sure how it fishes for panfish but id like to give it a try some time!  GOod luck everyone!
