I'm just a transplant out here in MA - surrounded by Budweiser drinkin Pats Fans who've never heard of Hayward (dogs name), Beaver Dam Tip Ups (all I use) and I'm not sure they understand that to drink all day you have to start early.

Good Lord, my digital indoor/outdoor thermometer reads 71.1 degrees outside. Aaaauuugggghhhh!!! Now I am sick. Bartenter, another round!  Just place it on the vanity next to the throne.

I'm ready for the warm weather. I think we have close to 30" of ice around here now. There was 21" at Waubay Lake two weeks ago and it has been cold the whole time.

Same here. I've lived here over 20 years and this was the longest cold spell I remember. Had over 20" of ice to go through Sunday. Just hope good ice stays up in the mountains for a couple more months. Not ready to pack up the ice fishing gear just yet. Been out around 20 times this year and only got skunked once. Only a few days in the 40's until the past two days and today my wife was out in short sleeves washing her car!

When I lived out there, I did a little ice fishing in the Red Feathers canyon area. I don't think I ever caught a thing while ice fishing in Colorado.

Tell you what, having Ice Shanty and being able to share ideas makes all the difference in the world. I'd of never had this success without all the info from members. My lucky day when I found this site. Hope the summer fishing site is as good!!
