Need a pic of a deluxe ice house

I did some searching here but didn't find one in the time I looked.

I'm trying to explain the draw of ice fishing to some southerners. All they can think of is how cold it is out there. Wha Wha Wha.  :'(

I'm going to tell them it's not cold if you dress right (which is true) and when it gets really cold you get into an cozy ice house like this (pic of deluxe ice house.) If there is one here you can direct me to it.

lol good luck with that.  southerners think we snowbirds are nuts for icefishing.  i lived in the south on and off for a few years, and they all think were nuts  :roflmao:

But we are aren't we? I mean is icefishing really logical? Who was the first moron that thought, "Hey the fish are still there I must be able to catch them."  ;D Of course the first one never found out as he went through!  :D :D :D But you can bet it didn't take long for another moron to try it, and Walla we have icefishing!  ;)

What's the name of the lake? From my little time in Maine maybe I will recognize it.

We think ours is pretty comfy...always nice, warm and comfy


Pulling on to our favourite fishing hole


My best friend seems to like it. He comes out on every trip.


We have our tackle boxes built in.


A couch to watch movies or jig in our favourite holes.


A nice fire to keep things comfy.


Lots of snacks to eat.


And a beautiful sunset every night.

COLD....what cold!

talk about your portable shanty, wow, i could live in that all year long.  winters are long, and you need a hide-away, and boy it helps to have them.  get-ur-done.

I told the southern guys when else can you walk on water like Jesus, fish anywhere on the lake without a boat, sit back and watch the superbowl and fish at the same time with beer in hand, and get away from the nagging wife.  ;D Oh and don't forget the hot meal and cozy temps!

Chewster   very nice   wow  I wish we had that kind of ice in NY,,  so we can build houses  and drive out to them stay all day   I have to drag my fish trap out
and listen to the wind LOL  maybe someday....... very nice setup

I see maybe two now. But I have doubts they are even holes. Why? One is right in front of the door. Sure it's not just a trailer with a peaked roof?
