I thought this might be an interesting subject! Where might be the top spots to land Lake Whitefish during our short hardwater season?

I'm in Western NY and don't know of any local lakes that have a good population of whities. I was fishing near the old tub near the Small Boat Harbor and saw 2 swim by on the AquaVu. Folks around here who are after white fish travel up to Lake Simcoe in Ontario.
