Not an Atlantic, no forked tail. It is a brown, they are the only type trout that are stocked in the lake I caught it at. Get this, they are only stocked as fingerlings. Send me a private message if you need to know the lake it was caught at. Some people on here will know where it was caught at by the back ground in the photo.

i held the leader board for awhile but i knew i would be beat before too long.

I have never seen pikerel that big in my life WAY TO GO!!

i fished my self board of them, i'm onto whitefish and burbot now!!

Good luck PGK i have never seen one that big or heard of one from PA. I know its only a matter of time before you boys take it back you have way to good of a fishery up there.
And lonewolf hasn't made a call on it yet I'm going to send him more pics hopefully tonight.

Man, there are some beauty fish this year, way to go everyone, and still lots of icefishing to be done yet.

Way to go, lilkepike. You are really hitting the Esox family hard.
Those are both awesome pike and chain pickerel. :thumbsup.

Great brown trout JazII a really chunky fish.

ILIKEPIKE and Treble hook those are two awesome pickerel! They don't come much bigger than that !They would fit right in in the pike category

Get a good ruler and take a picture of a clean fish not snow coverd like that monster was, now lets see a 15pounder!!!!!!!!

Salmoncandy - that's a neat fish. However, I'd just like to correct your statement that it is a relative of the tarpon. Tarpon are of the family Megalopidae - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlantic_tarpon . Inconnu are members of the family Salmonidae, and more specifically, are members of the Coregonus subfamily, or whitefish - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inconnu.

Congrats on adding another species to the Anything category.

Thank you WOW I cant believe it Thanks so much Lonewolf for everything you have done.
