From their website: http://www.tygerleader.com/

STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY The first stainless steel knottable Leader designed to handle toothy fish. Nylon coated to resist abrasive rock and coral. Manufactured to deliver more fighting action.
TyGer™ Leader is flexible enough to tie to your monofilament using virtually all monofilament knots. Due to the high-quality nylon coating, your knot never slips. You get natural casting action as tippet for fly-fishing, plus all diameters will reel nicely directly onto your rod and reel. Great for catching Marlin, Halibut, Pike, Shark, Northerns, Muskies, Dorado, Walleye, Kingfish, Barracuda, Wahoo, and other toothy fish.

I use it, and love it.  I don't tie it though, I make a few twists and melt it together.  Haven't had one break yet.  This is an approved method on Tyger's website.
