Well folks...there is a new fish disease hitting ontario's fish....prompting the ban of transporting bait from southern ontario north....and if you're hoping to get shiners
?forget it..... mnr has banned the sale of shiners from the great lakes...which are usually sold by wholesalers to local baitshops...price of dace and chubbs are sure to go up to offset the lack of shiner sales....small price to pay though to save our fish....so remember folks...buy your bait where you fish......and plan a few extra bucks for bait ..................tigh
