Has anyone been fishing Cheney Lake in Anchorage

I just found the site last night after we got back from Cheney Lake.  We trekked through knee-deep snow all the way across the lake and fished for pike but we only had one bite and no catches.  There was only one fishing hole in the whole lake, near the middle, not what I thought would be a good pike area.  Where are the hot spots, if you don't mind sharing?

I think I would give up on that lake. I fished it a few times last and had no luck at all. The fish and game and people spearing pike have made it pretty slow. I wish they would just kill the lake off completely and restock it with rainbows. Or stock it with pike. Something so we have something to catch there.
