geez, no idea tj.  do the craps in that area relate to weed edges or drops or do they just suspend over open water?

Always wear clean underwear, cuz ya never know when the paramedics are gonna have to cut your pants off.

That looks like a great little lake!!!

I would concentrate around the hump on the W side.
They may be suspending along the sides of that.  ???

What other species are present in the lake?

What polasauris said.  Either there or in that 30' hole.  Everything we are find around here are suspended in the basins 4-12 feet off of the bottom.

I the summer they will be around the weed edges but in the winter the weeds die off so In the winter the are ussually suspended but this year I just cant find them.

We got just about everything that can be found around southern MN, we got crappies, sunnies, lm bass, pike, muskie, bullhead, perch, and more.

The south side on the steep drop off below the 30' hole is where i would start. The key question is is there any structure in the lake like down or flooded timber, fish cribs or rock piles. I find that the crappie in my area relate to structure and stay there all season. When I don't know the lake I look for easy access to deep water as a go to location. ;D

TJ, are you fishing daytime or night? If day time i cant help you. I would go night fishing at the sw hump at 10 fow and spread tip-downs from that spot and to the east where it drops off to 30 fow. Also while the tip-downs are out i would jig from that spot (10fow) to the deep spot to the east.

I got in a habit of fishing the deep water because that is where we find them normally but I got to get myself to try different things witch is sometimes hard to do.

Do you have a flasher?  Are your fish there but suspended?

I have had areas that are great for a day a week a year and even multiple years but then shut down or are hot only at key times.  If you would like to hook fish year in year out you have to be able to changes things up when the going get tough.  Don’t leave fish to find fish figure them out but if the fished move to different structure or the food has moved or changed then you can’t hook what is not there.

You have to stay versatile to be consistent.

I'd work that long sloping underwater point at 10 o'clock on the map. I believe it went out to 30 feet. Need to work different depths, using the lasher to find them. If thats 56 foot hole is were you normally find them, I'd work that staggered drop off to 2 o'clock of the deep water
