Glow jigs what ever type you use during the day. A lantern Coleman double mantel propane works best for me and a green under water light. Set the Green light in the center of your tip-ups jig along the edge of the lighted area.

Every lake is a little different.  The lake I for crappie, the bite starts at dusk and then dies down after about 8:30pm.  I've never tried fishing it much later than that.  The glow jigs are the key though.  A Vex will make life even easier!  ;D

Use a little glow jig and hook a small minnow on its tail and put it about 6ft below the ice.
