Mother nature gave other states ice before NY...just to give them a head start
oops thats carogakid lol fingers to knarled up to type.
I'm hurt esox, you forgot me.
I was sure I had your name listed Roy...will get it updated soon...guess we've got 161 or 162 members to kick butt with, and I see on page 48 there are 4 more NY'ers for the list.....
Esox...I read your post on the 2007 Tourney board (gripes/suggestions) that you stated bass are illegal to catch after December 1st in New York. Actually, the Fingerlakes of New York allow bass fishing thru March 31st (I believe) and the rest of the year (statewide) is catch-and-release with artificals only. I assume by these regulations, we could "legally" CPR a bass (statewide) or CPK a bass (Fingerlakes) and be eligible for the Tourney. Just a thought so NYers don't get disqualified when posting pictures of legal bass.
Its just mother natures way of telling the other states that they suck, and need a headstart on team ny :-p
Ok, fellas . . . this lack of ice is making me real grouchy, giddy, and crazy . . . I'll out-ice-fish anyone on the New York Roster. We'll pick a body of water by mutual agreement. Perch-only, jigging only. No minnows allowed, only mousies or spikes or other recognized members of the grub family are allowed for live bait. Only 10"+ perch count. Highest weight wins, limited by whatever local creel limits are applicable. Wager? $50.00 per pound. In other words, if I have 8 pounds and the opponent has 12 pounds, that's $200.00.I think Sodus or I-bay would be the most appropriate venues.Who's in?Pokerman
I'll dig out my reg book and clarify, and will correct my post if I am wrong...thanks for the heads up!!! Esox
