THE BIG FISH

TRUE STORY Jerry and I had entered the annual ice fishing tournament for  five years straight.It was a usual morning hung over from the night before late start greasy breakfest.We cut holes as usual baited them and waited for a good hour.First flag was mine ran over spooled.2nd flag Jerry ran over spooled no bait again.This went on for over an hour We heard a huge splash behind us and to our amazement an otter sprang up through a hole with one of our minnows in his mouth!!!

same thing happened with one of my buddies...he thought he was snagged up with a big fish so he chiseled 10 holes following the line until he got to the bank and his line went down a muskrat hole!!!

i was looking down my hole one time- it started to bubble so i stood up and good thing because a muskrat came up out of the hole took one look at me and vanished back down the hole. AHHH
