Drove northern IN and here's what i saw.
The narrows/ mud ( Chain-o-Lakes) both had ice cover (skim) on the south and east sides. Park closed signs are up??Deer hunt??
N channel skim ice in back half, south channel had 3/4" w/snow cover on back half. The front had skim only.
No ice seen around James at all
Channels on Snow had light, clear ice 1/2" on back half
Channel on Adams by the Inn, middle had ice(skim/light)
China Gardens (syracuse) and the slip had skim/light with open spots.
Little Simington is all but locked up w/light ice...However NO ice in channels.
Minimal ice on Barbie channels mostly light skim.
So all in all not looking real good even for the weekend
