Indy weatherman predicts cold winter!!!!!
« on: Dec 05, 2006, 07:37 PM »
Indy weatherman Chris Wright said last night that the NWS is now predicting a weak el nino this winter which will bring us below normal temperatures from an arctic air mass that should be trapped just above us for most of the winter.  I hope he's right. We are long overdue.

Oh darn. That means we will have a mild winter.  >:(

You go the opposite of what the NWS says.  :(

I hope they're right but I've seen them off 180 degrees more than once.
I live in the midwest now but have fond memories of fishing in New England as a kid.

Here is what my company is forecasting for the winter.

The weather patterns are probably going to be determined by the strength of the El Nino.
