If they were going to fit in either one it would be the Titans.

Just a heads up looks like we are in a Minimum Advertised Price season as most pricing on ice gear is close to or above MSRP ...once the sales and discounts start... pricing will come down some ...same as last season(s)

MSRP looks to be $19.99 ... for the Eskimo bucket

Anyone use the st Croix tundra rods?

I bought one last year and hated it. I found my line got caught around the top eyelet while jigging and would 'click' off when I tried to jig again. So you would have to watch your line like a hawk to ensure it didn't get stuck.

I called them and they upgraded me to the Premiere but I had to pay the difference and shipping.

Clam Tikka Flash

What is that?  A failed tail spinner lure?

What happens with tail spinner lures that uses a swivel chain between the lure and blade is that often the line get's tangles up.  In effect one way to reduce that is to remove the swivel.  Now you just get a floppy blade attached.  If the fish wants to bite, they will bite.

If I was in the market for a hub, that Eskimo 450XD blackout looks nice.

I just picked up a 650xd grey interior on an slamming Amazon Warehouse deal before summer that thing is huge but manageable ...I have a 949i that seemed just to cramped for me ...3 people max to be minimally comfortable space and elbow room wise . After comparing the 450i to my 949i ...I wasnt gaining that much more real state ...if I found a deal on the 450i I would have more then likely passed on it ....then along came the 650XD ... pretty happy and I absolutly love the gray interior and that full door is going to be quite the game changer.

This picture from the Eskimo web site does it justice ..except for them chairs

I like new gear but I only used my old gear for 9 days last winter. 2 inches of ice doesn't go far.

I think this is new? Another option for a full door hub. No idea how the quality is on these, price is good though

They've been a growing brand in Amazon for a couple years now, with good reviews. Looks nice, and price is good for someone with a tighter budget to take a chance.

Heck, maybe that person is me....

It’s not a bad deal really for an insulated hub with a full door. $100 less than an Eskimo Outbreak. I have one of their ice reels and can’t complain for the price I paid.
I see they have ice rods now, and float suits, specs all look good, just not a lot of reviews on the really new stuff

I sat in the Eskimo Eskape 2000 at Frank's Great Outdoors this past Sunday.  I liked the foldable bench seat that could fit two people, the size of the doors, the good-sized fishable area, and the fact that the placard claimed that it was only 81 lbs. (61 would be better for loading into a truck..)  I wasn't crazy about the three expandable, removable poles that snapped in place and weren't captive to the frame when taking it down, but that was about the only thing that I didn't care for.  I guess that I have a fear of losing poles while dragging my sled someday and would rather have all of the poles connected to each other at all times...

The benchseat seemed comfortable as well and that there would be room for two people should I ever need the room.  I thought about reserving and putting a down-payment on one and then picking it up at Shanty Days in December, but having three at home might be too much, so I didn't do it...yet.
