Put a cheap ice rod to the test

In Florida for the week visiting family. Staying on a canal in the keys. My son's brought a couple cheap combos in their suitcase. Rigged it up with some shrimp and sent it out...... Barracuda fight like pickerels on steroids.

He had a blast with that little rod. He also got a few nurse sharks on that thing. Now we are home and waiting for ice.
