Baldwin area - Big Star Lake
« on: Feb 07, 2022, 06:45 PM »
Hey fellow lovers of the hard water!  I am a last minute addition to a group of guys going to Baldwin for the weekend, which is their annual ice fishing trip.  My best buddy was invited and he invited me- he is a pretty inexperienced ice fisherman, and I am not.

I haven’t read much of anything good about Big Star Lake, but I think that will be where everyone wants to fish, or at least start fishing.  I’m just hoping for some guidance for fishing either Big Star or really any Lake in that general area.  I’m hoping to get my buddy hooked, and you don’t have to worry about us coming and fishing your local spots, cause we won’t be back till next year haha.

Any help is very much appreciated!!  I’m hearing Walleye is the target species, but I’m happy as a clam with good perch fishing.  Are there eyes in Big Star?  Thanks in advance, brothers.

As always- tight lines!!
