Togue and cusk
« on: Jan 20, 2022, 08:31 PM »
I drove out from Iowa by myself to fish for a week and have managed to catch my first salmon and brookie through the ice. I would love to cross togue and cusk off of my list as well! I'll be in Millinocket from Friday-Monday. Any advice on lakes to try? Don't care about size,  just wanna catch a few

Both the Pemadumcook Chain of Lakes (Ambajejus, North and South Twin, etc.) support both species, as does Schoodic.  Pretty impressive you ventured cross country to check a few species boxes.  Others on here may have more info on those waters.  Good luck!

Thanks Skeet34. I've wanted to come out to Maine since I was a kid, and I finally had time to do it. It's a beautiful state. Think I might try Schoodic
