Lithium. About half the weight and at least twice as long on a charge. Game changer.

I have the Amped Outdoors (IS sponsor) 12ah. and happy with it. You can get it for your Hummingbird for $100 + $20 for the compatible charger.

Lots of lithium options..be certain to get a charger for it as well

standard SLA batteries are a dime a dozen ...but lithium is lighter and can last longer if you up the amp hours from your current battery .

There's a store called batteries plus. They have a great selection. They will find the battery you want/need.

Definitely worth the extra $ for lithium. I have an 18ah Amped Outdoors lithium. 1/2 the weight, get twice the life. More charge cycles per battery. I had 18 hours on my Helix7, still read 100%. I charged it because I had a full day of fishing the next day.

I bought a 7ah Dakota Lithium battery for my Helix 5. I also bought their 3 amp charger. No regrets. https://dakotalithium.com/product/dakota-lithium-12v-7ah-battery-69/

I also have a 65ah VMAX lithium battery with their 20 amp charger for my trolling motor. I also am happy with this brand. I found a good price on the battery through Walmart.

Picked up a Micro-start and made up a connection for my Lowrance Ice machine. Can also use it to charge your phone, run a laptop or jump start up to a 350 V-8 with a dead battery. And weighs in @ 15.25 oz. Which is a game changer from the lead pig battery.
