Just more wood business for ya, Doc!
The wind has been out of control this fall... Everywhere it seems.
I'll share!!!!!! And...we now have a T'nado watch and severe T-storm WARNING out...NWS said this is the first ever T'nado in December in Minnesota history. Oh, and it's 64* right now..shattered the last high temp record from 1954 of 51* for this day. ...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST THURSDAY...* WHAT...Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 70 mph expected.* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Iowa and southeast Minnesota.* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Thursday.* IMPACTS...Damaging winds tonight could blow down trees and power lines causing power outages, possibly for a prolonged period of time. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Empty semi-trailers will run the risk of being blown over.I kinda doubt any ice fishing is gonna happen her before February....right when our licenses expire.
Yup, we got smacked with a tornado. That set a new first time record. Pretty much OK in the city, but did have 77 MPH winds, some trees and such down. Bit south of us in the country, they got smucked. T'nado flattened barns, took roofs off houses, wrecked grain bins, etc. I just hope everyone is OK.Boy, how much can people take in a year???!!
