Salmoncandy is better on the vids than I am, less camera wobble :P Opposite direction from your backyard. Might be trying your way soon though if I can't find any decent laker lakes closer to me. Sled is fixed 8)

This little squaw fish i caught- ok well northern pikeminnow had his tail ripped off??  and it is starting to grow back, what appears to be the tip of a new tail. In this lake that i caught this fish i caught nothing else besides scrap fish, was fishing for trout.   Its a small lake guessing not very deep and have never tried fishing for burbot in it.
Any guesses wut happened? Ive never caught a fish with this to its tail before...

thought just lizards and stuff regrew disconnected limbs and appendages, but from the looks of it, that is a tiny fin growing out of the remainder of the old...  pretty cool.

I have a Canon a430 but it's not all that hot. My Canon z180u (35mm) outperforms my digital anyday. I would go with an Olympus or a higher end Canon depending on your budget.....I was limited by the $ figures again....it shoots nice though....all kinds of functions. Cheers

is there a digital olympus or high-end canon that you know of that can contend with your 35mm?

I'm not sure about Olympus' makes/models but everyone I know who has one loves it. Myself, I think I should have held out a little longer and spent the extra dollars to get one. If you don't mind paying the bigger $ figure, the Canon Rebel XT is one hell of a shooter.

Man, give em a try. They rock. I've never hit so many fish back to back to back in the same hole with the same jig

Ahh come on, your young. I was fishing this last Saturday and I was coughing up blood from chest infection. Didn't hold me back from fishing but did make me run a little slower in the 750 yard run to get the hole I wanted in tourney in Alberta.

Nice pics.
