Anybody on this forum know chookie from butler? Have not seen him in a while. Always had some great homemade wine. He kind of got us started ice fishing. Good man.

Ya I haven't seen him in years, but I know many guys he turned on to ice fishing. He's one of the originals from the 70's. I still remember his business cards he'd pass out to people. Chookie Bonetti lover of (wife's name) love of wine, hunting and fishing.. Last time I saw him was probably 8 years ago on Shannon Run. Just him with a spud bar, one jig rod and a cup of maggots.

I haven't seen chookie for years. I used to see him in the late 90's at harbor acres. He and his buddy had a runner sled with a big red wooden box on it. That box had gear and booze in it. They always offered up some drink and cookie would let my young daughter pull in fish on his tip-ups. I haven't seen him for about 15 years.
Take Care and God Bless
Rick

Thanks, I was just curious if he was on this forum. Ran into him 4 or 5 years ago on goose bay.
