Ice fishing after the rain

This past saturday the edges took a beating from the rain but the main ice was still a pretty solid 4" so we went back at it. 

slower action in numbers saturday sunday and monday but the quality was there for sure.  a few nice bass came to the holes on tip ups including a monster largie and a surprise smallie for my buddy.  Nice perch here and there on jigs and tip ups and the big crappie came through as the sun went down like clockwork.... a rouge slab gill even smashed the jig too!

Ice fishing options will hopefully start to expand soon, but that wind it being a real beyotch on the open water.
