Helix series by humminbird

Anyone else having problems with their transducer magically unplugging and the screen turning on by itself

I put a small cable clamp on the transducer cable and fastened it to the threaded mount under the power head to keep it from pulling out of the ice pac as a precaution. As far as the unit turning itself on, I'm no help. You may want to contact Humminbird about that.

I have a ice55 and the transducer cord comes off occasionally, but it really hasn't been what I'd call a problem.  Has happened maybe four or five times in four years.   Haven't had a problem with the power cord.  You'd think they could have connections that would stay on, for the money you pay.  But, they are still a good unit.
