    I live in the G-town area,with lots of water around me.I think first ice will be mid December.
    Hopefully it will come early and stay LATE !!!!!!!!!!   Bring on the COLD !!!!!!!!!

I think we will have ice around Christmas. The only problem about getting early ice is that it usually goes away for about two weeks then comes back again. When that happens it seems like the fishin isn't as good as when we get ice around Christmas and it stays till ?    JULY!!!!!   LMAO

I'll hope for around December 10th.  I know last year I was ice fishing around the weekend of Thanksgiving and fished until close to the first of the year, when it all went away, unless you wanted to drive an hour or more north into MI.

It will probably be more like Christmas and then like others previously stated, it will go away for a week or so and then come back

hmmm 3-4 inchs,,, that could be a bit late, wait for that much here and you might be waiting for the second ice to form,,,late dec or jan would be 3-4 ..Ibet,,( that late just to keep the fair weather fishers from lookin till then....  thehehe)

Just after Christmas or on Christmas. When we get it early it leaves early. So far so good. Crosses his fingers...
