Looking for advice and recommendations for the best place to get a replica made in the Regina area. Caught a fat one the other day out of Echo

Morin taxidermy out of Nipawin did a walleye for me in 2008 and did a fantastic job. He’s no longer in business though unfortunately. I tried calling for my cousin last year.

Advanced taxidermy ended up doing a replica for my cousin. I haven’t seen it yet but my cousin said they did a great job.

Wait time was around 6-8 months but they did a very professional job and shipped it wrapped up nicely in a sturdy crate. Price was very comparable too.

His 32 inch walleye was around $850 I believe taxes and shipping included. It goes by price per inch so if your is shorter than 32 it will be a bit less.

I don't know if you ever make it south of the border, but Northern Anglers Taxidermy in Billings, Montana (https://www.northernanglerstaxidermy.com/) does some fantastic replicas.

The first to offer replicas was Hawkins taxidermy out of Winnipeg.  They have done work for myself and all of the outfitters, and their customers.  You will find the price runs about the same with all of the taxidermists in the industries.

Hawkins is probably the biggest in the industry and I am sure you would be happy with their work.
