The perch look good! I don't think there is a limit on perch in Idaho correct? Maybe if I can get my crew interested in taking a trip there.
by sugarloaf is 7 inch of ice 6-7 inch of slush and 8-10 inch off snow,, yesterday some of the slush frozen up should be better today, fish caught at the 18-22FOW
Thanks for the Intel on the conditions, sucks you get to play in a slurpee to get them pigs.
35 in 1.5 hours.....should be able to fill a jet sled with a full day of fishing
With the drive you guys have from CO. I don't blame you. The only hope is it melts down a bit, it gets down right cold and we get a nice thick crust layer or even cloudy top ice by mid feburary
we don’t might about driving or not caught lot of fish, as long we have a good time and memories when i get old 😀😀😀
That's the way it should be! I used to care about catching a lots in my younger days but now, bringing home fish is a bonus as long as we have a good time hanging out, eating, drinking, and BS together a few times a year.
if we worry too much with fish, we won’t spend time and lof of money for got some fish, deep sea fishing trip cost around 10k
Where do you guys stay at and how much does it cost a night?
Birch Glen. Highly recommended.
I checked out the place on the web and it seems to be nice, thanks.
we have a bug group stay at tamarack is around $150 a day nice clean and close to fishing, 7 of us split each cost 480 for 3 night food alcohol, pretty much everything, gas we take turn
Stayed there this last weekend. Its not the fanciest or the newest or the most expensive. But they cater to the sportsman crowd. Even have a room out back to clean fish inside out of the weather. Nice folks and easy access n room to park. Birch Glen gets my money when I decide to stay in Cascade.
How was the fishing? Do you need sled to get to the fishing spot or need to hire guides?
Wowser, that sounds like uphill work.
from where we park and fishing is 4-5 mile away so walking is not recommended😀😀😀
Are you guys parking and riding out from poison or from the resort? Looks like some good times in those pics
