I posted once to this thread a few years back, listing several reasons why but now, thinking more about it, I realize that I enjoy ice fishing so much these days because it is one of the few activities that really make me feel alive, whether fishing solo or with company. More often then not, that company is my wife, and there is no else one who I'd rather be fishing with.
