Well I found the bass hole today! Unbelievable! One small mouth after another. lol I didn't think they grouped together.
After 6, I moved. Lol
Nothing else! Not sure how iccassin did.

Iceassin didn't do THAT good. Dink perch all day. Three different spots. One 22" pike, 2 other runs...dropped the bait.🙄 Mitchell will see no more of me this year. Twice is enough. Good to meet iceicemike and his bride. Nice people.

Fun fish to hook and play!

Try setting up on a flat in 10'-12' of water if it's perch you're after.  Hali with a waxie.

Good to meet you too! Freaking windy!! Before you left I caught a bass (which I told ya)
Then it was I caught another, then another, then another, back to back, then she caught one. I'm serious! Every fish was a small mouth!
Over by the slabs!

I'll assume you're fishing them for the fun of it. Bass season is closed in Michigan. Just an FYI. Have fun.

Fished Mitchell this morning_Friday 1-03-20
Still have about 6" of ice where I was, but there is a soft spot over the 20' hole that only has a couple of inches.
I went off the boat launch in about 16' of water.

Caught one pike almost 25" and one broke my line (I was set up for perch)
His belly was full of (4) small perch, a few small perch minnows and a golden.
His side had some scrapes like a spear or a bear paw may have peeled off some scales ???

I didn't see much action and I only had the two hits.

It is supposed to cool down below freezing this afternoon and stay there for several days

Good Luck All
