You can say that. Other day I had a nice 15.5/16 didn’t measure but more then a 5gal lid and he only went 1.8 so who know. Ny record is 3#8oz if I remember correctly

 I got a perch on the wall out of Oneida that is 13 3/4” with a girth of 113/8” do that math , of course anything big must be photo shopped 😉

So how much bigger was your fish than 5 gallon bucket lid? Last time I checked a 5gallon bucket lid was 12".

Nope 5 gallons bucket is smaller than 12" at the top only 12" once a lid is on it.  Pry a 13-14 inch fish if it was bigger than 5 gallon bucket lid

I agree... I was commenting towards an earlier post that the perch pic was photoshopped. It always seems to be brought up when a slammer fish is posted. 🤯

That would be the new World Record. Brute perch but look a bit like a long arm photo. Who knows though. If it is 3# that is freaking awesome!

That perch was caught out west and I think it was 3.1 if I recall 17” look into cascade lakes or the dakotas perching don’t know it they get 16s very often it’s legit
