found some toothy critters
« on: Dec 17, 2018, 09:16 AM »
Hawkeye and I found some toothy critters this weekend.  We found a couple 6 #ers an 8 #  as well as a hand full of 4-5#ers.  Saturdays fishing was much better than Sunday's.

That's an awesome picture... All tangled up in line holding a fish as big as he is... Awesome man

Way to go Hawkeye & Jason. How did Pike Spooler do with his bite identification?

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. That one with the boy looks like it's 15 pounds at least!
I live in the midwest now but have fond memories of fishing in New England as a kid.

It was a good weekend.

M&M he was pretty good with he "pike spinning" calls (unless he was jerking my chain)

He tried to make it look like 15 lbs (not his first rodeo)!

He did catch a nice 6lb fish (aaa 2 lbs smaller than mine **cough cough**), ask him where his elbows and fingers are??? ;)

We have fun ;D

Great job! did my first pike fishing this weekend...a lot of fun they run/fight like giant salmon...easier to find and Ok to target. I'll be bringing my nubie friends/kids out for them I learned my lesson targeting trout and never getting them back on the ice.
