Anfishing, your handle should be "AintFishin"   ;D

Show us some real fishing videos and you would probably get more subscriptions.

Nice video...just a suggestion with the camera either buy the tripod with the hook or build something similar makes using the camera much easier.

Content is king!  Make something people want to watch or can learn from.  I've been doing it for almost 4 years (seriously for about 2 years).  I don't ask for subscribers, I TRY to make content that will get subscribers and it isn't easy.  If you actually want to make money from your channel... CONTENT AND CONSISTENCY are incredibly important.  I get about 35,000 minutes of watch time on my channel each month and that will only get you about $20/month (once you have the 1000 subscribers you need) LOL.  I don't do it for the money... I do it to help people, entertain people and it helps me find a few people a year to guide (part time guide who doesn't have a lot of time outside of work and family).

Check out my videos if you want.  Some are trip videos, some are "How To" videos.  Some become very successful... others don't.  Content and Consistency!  Do some YouTube research on how to get subscribers and how to improve video quality.  It is overwhelming for sure but just keep improving!

YouTube channels trouble me. Way too easy these days to “hot spot” precise locations. This can happen both on purpose or by accident.

Now I am NOT, I repeat, NOT saying any of the channels above do this. Just that we all know in an effort for coveted “subscribers” some tubers just go too far (or even do dumb and dangerous things like pushing the limits of ice or sneaking into private waters).

That said, I just hope anyone making videos from our area is considerate  enough to keep things as discreet and respectful as possible.

Just my $0.02 no1 asked for  ;)

Best of luck wth the tube and be safe out there.  I’ll give you a watch next time I can’t get out there myself.

I'm with you wrangler.  When money is involved all things become corrupt even fishing.  Look up Cape cod canal striper fishing on YouTube.  When I started there were 0 videos.  Now people post them minutes after a blitz!

Small channels don’t really make any money on YouTube. I don’t really see what’s so bad about sharing a fishing location in a fishing video ? If you fish you know fish can be hot one day and in an area and not the next. Just because you make a video catching a few fish doesn’t mean people are going to flock to that spot the next week. People post pictures of fish every day with locations. The best part of ice fishing is catching the fish. What’s wrong with helping someone out a little.
