You and me brother. We destroyed the Panfish last year in the bay. Perch, gills, crappie and some unbelievable LM bass over 4lbs. P.I. is the best place in Pa. to fish. I'm more than ready. I still got a couple bags of jumbo perch from last winter. Christmas eve fry.lol  Worth the 2 hour trip.

100% worth it.....I can’t get enough of the perch action up there..I limited out on jumbos in misery one day then the next weekend was nothin but gills n i missed out on i don’t know how many  cuz of the light bite so I just ordered some titanium spring bobbers... my fishin partner 5 feet away had one n out fished me by atleast 20.... ain’t happening this year!!!!  The next few weekends I targeted perch off chestnut....didn’t limit out but had very solid days....

I use a tickle stick, you don't miss many hits with that rod. Most days I fished last year,we had very aggressive  bite. But I know the breathing on your bait hits, plastics work well on those days.
