Anyone have an update on ice conditions on Higgins.  Planning on coming up Thurs-Sun if it is still accessible.  Thanks

Hooked Up on Higgins guide service was out there over the weekend, for what it's worth.

There is a post on facebook that said a perm shanty fell thru fell thru on Higgins. In cadillac I drove down by the lakes this morning. One guy on Lake Mitchel and no one that I saw on Cadillac. One thing I did see is the shanty that the Lions club puts out to raise money every year is thru the ice. It is located in town by the little park there

Was there last weekend, ice was 14". But shore ice was gone in certain spots. Suppose to dip below freezing Wednesday night thru weekend. Hope they don't get the snow. Be safe.
