Anyone fished either lake since Saturday?

Would like to know how the ice is holding up. Thanks.

Fished Bantam today, about 8 - 10 inches of ice no problem with edges.  Iced 2 pike on 8” dead bait suckers.

fished stillwater today
jigged up a lot of decent sized bluegills
and a few calico
ice is about 12 inches
looks like the rain and warm temps
is going to take its toll on the ice this week.

Looking for an update on bantam later this week. I'm thinking about trying it on Saturday since I haven't tried for pike yet this year

Went to the south end by the launch today and couldn’t get on. Might be able to use a plank. I’m sure once u get out there it’s safe.

Breathable waders have helped me a few times when the ice pulls away from the shore.

was at stillwater pond today
jigged up lot of bluegill
2 perch
and 6 big pond shiners
no trout all season.
ice was about 8-10 inches
edges still locked up.
looks bad for next weekend
with the warm temps next week.
may try and go one more time tomorow.

I fished stillwater on Saturday. There was over 10 inches of ice and the
edges were locked up. Very surprised as the pond made ice all morning.
I caught a few bass and perch and one big bullhead. 23 ' and 4 lbs
My buddy jigged up a bunch of bluegills perch and bass. Great day.

was at stillwater one last time today
jigged lot of bluegills
2 perch
2 small calico
and one lagremouth
no trout all season
with the temps this week
i think the season is over
and also stillwater is closed to fishing last day of febuary.
