Best grease for ice fishing reels

i personally don't use grease. in fact I clean  the grease out of new ice reels and put a few drops of hot sauce or liberty synthetic oil in them.put them in the freezer to see if they get stiff afterwards.

Never thought about the freezer test...great idea.  Grease is a mistake in the cold.  Hot sauce is the way to go.

Grease in gears, oil in bearings.

Clean out the factory grease, for sure.  I used to just use Zebco grease, now it's Abu Garcia grease.

I've also got the Xtreme reel grease too.

Abu Garcia Reel Lube.  They also make another product labeled "Grease."  Not that.
