Here is the on line registration address, they take credit card and paypal. Also on the link is information, rules and general information on the condition of the fishery, worth a read.  I will personally work to get the ice condition where and when I can just before the event, and there are no plans at the moment for soft water boating. Judging by the rules on the link....

"Open water fishing is allowed; either from shore or from a boat. All participants must be wearing a personal flotation device while on a boat. "
Trent Williams
When hell freezes over I'll ice fish there too

Trent, you are correct. I have know idea why it is listed under "safety" for shore/boat fishing topic.

[Hey Musky, if you find the results, it says "team Banks" won the team part, but that was a typo, it was team brooks. Be sure and tell Bub for me. He's my cousin. My daughter and i stopped and visited with u guys a couple years ago when Bub came up with you/quote]

I was doing the prize part of the show so only have some parts of the ending.

There were 85 pup lake trout caught.  There were 1,100 pounds of burbot caught. The largest burbot was 7 pounds. There were around 150 fishermen entered.
There were 26 burbot teams and 25 lake trout teams but I don't know how that works if it was an individual event,  The lake trout event was very popular. I can't say about a bag limit change for next year but prepare to be excited, maybe, or hold your breath.
50 tickets went into the prize bucket and all got a prize. No tagged fish were caught. Over $3,000 in prizes and cash were collected by yours truly. A young lady in pink won a rod and pink reel, that was pretty special. A man from Alaska won the Sportsman's auger only three days after he bought a new one at Sportsman's to replace his dead jiffy.
Most of the entrants were from Utah and I heard they did well at the event. The Boot Barn mystery gift card was worth $150 Thank you Dorthy.  The full ten ten pound propane bottles that Amerigas donated were well taken. That's all I have.

Oh, and the wind was estimated at over 30mph for 48 hours.
Bare  bank fisher until next year.
