Yeah, thanks guys..as I said in another post all the fish I catch on my tipups are on 12# mono, and size 12 trebbles. I dont see the need for steal leaders, or big trebbles I really dont. I think that just may spook more fish, and lead to more drops. I'm learning from the best pike fisherman I know (ilikepike), he's tought me so much its not even funny. And yeah, after that day i'm deffiantly hooked on pikefishing forsure!! By the way that days worth of fishing we managed to each limit out on our perch, then kinda gave up on jigging for them lol as we were too tied up with flags!! I cought 3 pike, 1 pickeral, and a salmon and countless perch. And Jeff (ilikepike) got 2 pike, 2 lakers, and countless perch. it was such a fun day!! It was kinda rough with no shanty and being there for like 12 hours in the storm, but it was well worth it! Ahh yes, I might add the smallest pike I got saturday was right at about610 am, I just set up my first tip up, was walking to my second hole, and jeffs like flag! Im like shut up dude, then looked, and was like ahh no spit..

Heh..I love that spot. We've been the only ones out there all year, we've been out there twice...I Try to keep the spot on the low, as you can tell its pretty productive. I just tell people that theres not much ice, and theres really not theres like 3 inches..and when we would stand next to eachother you could feel the ice sag, and crack and such.. Not a big deal, but it keeps the grubs outta your spot 8)
