Pack basket mods
« on: Dec 27, 2017, 09:54 AM »
I'm looking for ways of keeping my traps separated while in my pack basket. I was thinking plastic tubes or something along those lines. Anybody done any interesting modifications to your baskets to help organize your gear?

I'm not sure that DenMar Sports is even still in business, but they make a nylon holder with dividers that attaches to the out side of your pack basket to do just that.

I saved a few Crown Royal bags over the years and I use them to cover my reels so lines / lures / hooks don't get tangled.
I like to walk on water.

Hmmm...if I only knew where to find a few Crown bags....... @) I swapped over to a trap bag last year and have been very pleased. It takes up much less space in the sled. Easier to carry. Doesn't collect junk like my basket did. If you like the basket Wayne at Sebago Bait has all kinds of liners and inserts.
Can't catch em on your couch.

Loring has a liner with pockets on the inside you can go to their web site the are a sponsor here. I really  like mine. Having had tool bags for years pockets on the outside can become a hassle and get hung up on other thing in your sled or truck/car.

I have a liner from LL Bean, works great. Also had a lady add some interior pockets with zippers, stores all my jig containers and what not.  Also had her add a zipper to the exterior pouch, good place to keep my knife and pliers

If you need liners for your pack baskets, with or without pockets we have a bunch in stock, different sizes and colors, including camo. If you would like trap totes we have those as well. Plenty of Loring Pack baskets as well as the classic wooden kind, some made in Maine.

Denis from Denmar called it quits a few years back. He's at a point in his life where he wants to enjoy himself more.
