I figured all lakes in the "Hill's" would be absolutely slush monsters with all the snow this year? Is this not the case?

West end of Clark has a ton of slush and water on top of 3-4" of ice.

Hoping this insulating snow we hated does us some good and protects the ice over the next few days

I moved to Monroe a few years back.  Is Irish Hills the closest area besides Erie for me to find smaller water that’s good for fishing?   How is the ice now?   I think it’s suppossed to get cold again.  If anyone is looking for a fishing partner I’d appreciate a little help figuring out what lakes are good to fish on. Thanks!

There are folks on Devil's, Wamplers, and my Lake. I could hear the ice groaning and popping pretty good yetyhsterday. It must be making ice. The Devil's Lake Tip Up Festival is happening this weekend.
